Joe’s Place Disc Golf Three-Person Scramble: Another Championship Fundraising Success
On the morning of Saturday, September 27, Joe’s Place hosted its highly anticipated 2nd Annual Disc Golf Three-Person Scramble. The event drew 78 enthusiastic players who teed off at the scenic Willmore Park Disc Golf Course. All participants received players packs filled with disc golf accessories, along with lunch served by the Chartwells food truck. The annual tournament serves as a vital fundraiser, with all proceeds directly supporting Joe’s Place impactful programs.
The event’s success was made possible through the generous support of presenting sponsor Mellow Disc Golf in Maplewood. We sincerely appreciate owner Roger Martin for his commitment to Joe’s Place and the MRH community. Special recognition also goes to tournament fundraiser Dr. Michael Dittrich, who masterfully rallied sponsors for the event, along with the MRH School District. Thank you also to former Joe’s Place Board President and dedicated volunteer Heath Moylan who provided assistance and helped make this event possible.
The tournament featured three distinct competitive divisions to accommodate players of all skill levels: Joe’s division for beginners, Amateur division for intermediate players, and Pro division for experienced competitors. The following are the tournament winners…
