Hello Joe’s Place Community,
The fall season is already upon us, school is under way and life in the house continues at a fast pace! The board has been busy over the summer working on house improvements and plans for the coming year. We are excited to have Brandon and Angela Marty continue as house parents, providing continuity and stability for our students.
The board members and I are hoping to connect with many of you during our Party for Joe’s Place which will be held in an event space at my home in Brentwood on Saturday, December 2. This will be a fun evening of mingling, live music, delicious hors d’oeuvres and refreshing beverages. Keep an eye out for opportunities to buy tickets to this event which will be limited to 50 attendees.
We are also planning a Disc Golf Tournament in the spring. There will be two brackets – one for the Pros and one for the less (or un) experienced Joes. Start building your three-person team for what is going to be a really fun day competing and supporting Joe’s Place. We’ll be sending out more information as plans are finalized for this event.
