The entire Joe’s Place organization would like to thank our outgoing President, Susan Lee, for her four years of dedicated service to Joe’s Place. During this time, much has taken place at Joe’s Place! During Susan’s tenure, the board has added the Maplewood ShuIMG_6370ffle as our signature fundraising event for Joe’s Place; numerous administrative functions have been streamlined; new funding resources have been identified and five new members have joined the Joe’s Place board. Susan’s leadership has continued to build an affirming, collaborative environment for our extraordinary house parents, Dan and Alyssa Reeve and Jeremy and Rachel Mapp, for our high school students and our Program Committee. Seven MRH High School students have graduated during Susan’s term as President. Most of all, we are going to miss Susan’s friendly and energetic presence, her organizational and professional skills and her intelligent and thoughtful communication. Susan, thank you for your commitment to Joe’s Place and our community!

We would like to welcome our incoming President, Heath Moylan. Since joining the board in 2014, Heath has managed the installation and oversight of a new donor management system and a new website. Heath began his volunteer work for Joe’s Place during the planning and completion of our first Maplewood Shuffle in 2014 and continues to work to grow the event. As Joe’s Place enters its 10th year of service, Heath is focused on ensuring the ongoing stability of Joe’s Place while finding new ways to provide needed services to homeless and at-risk students in the MRH community.
